Compatibility: Our smart thermostat is compatible with around 90% of HVAC systems, including conventional (2H/2C), heat pump (4H/2C), natural gas, electric, hot water, gas fireplaces (24V), oil heat, and dual fuel systems. All system types require a common wire (C-wire) for proper operation.

The thermostat does not work with electric baseboard heat (110-240VAC) or millivolt systems. It also does not support S terminals for indoor and outdoor sensors.

Wi-Fi Connectivity: We have thoroughly tested and upgraded the internal components and user interface to ensure a stable Wi-Fi connection. The issue of intermittent connectivity has been resolved.

Screen and Display: The thermostat features a user-friendly touchscreen display. You can enable or disable the screen saver function from the settings menu. If you prefer to keep the screen on continuously, simply turn off the screen saver.

Accuracy: The thermostat is highly accurate, with a deviation of no more than 2°F in our extensive testing across various environments.

C-Wire Requirement: If your HVAC system does not have a C-wire, you can try the following workaround, but we recommend consulting your HVAC manufacturer or an electrician first:

1. At the furnace, connect the G-wire to the C terminal, and use a black jumper wire to connect G and Y (or W if you need heating).
2. At the thermostat, connect the G-wire to the C terminal on the wall plate. The G terminal on the wall plate can be left blank.
